buried but not dead?

so it seems theres life in these forums after all, are we walking dead, vampires or something far far worse... Trolls? nah... we're harmless except for hanso and a few others.. LOL!

Jarrod Sarrafin wanted me to copy/paste this msg i left in the RANDOM THOUGHTS thread as he thought the programmer dude's would see it and begin to take immediate and swift action!

so read on all yee Mania-Java-Programmers-of-the-site:

to whom it just might concern to get the ball rolling on this issue,

I see that the Maniac Forums themselves are still buried in a drop-down menu in an offshoot dropdown menu called FORUMS. I had hoped that they would be a single click off the main page but alas, this site is in love with their java drop-down menu's. They do work, yes, thats never been in question or an issue. However they are not visible at first glance and realizing that they are nessled within the FORUMS tab which is located at the bottom of the MANIACS tab is downright frustrating to newcomers and regulars who never look beyond the GAMES/TOYS tab (come to think of it, if ranked in order of importance, the MANIACS tab should be first before MOVIES, TV, COMICS, ANIME/MANGA and GAMES/TOYS tabs...right? (ok maybe thats a pipe-dream but at least move it closer to the right hand side guys? The site IS CALLED MANIA after all.. the fact that the tab is called MANIACS means its really important and contains some juicy tabs with useful stuff that is definitly beneficial to the site members...right?)

I will also never understand why you guys decided to do a branch off MANIACS to display only MANIAC FORUMS and ANIME /MANGA FORUMS when there are only two forums? Why dont you just elliminate the FORUMS tab completely and move the two FORUMS links (FORUMS and Anime/Manga to the bottom of the MANIACS drop-down list directly under REVIEWS? When you expand this forums section later on down the road, then you can branch off again.. but two tabs? For a normal site regular, ts hardly worth the extra effort to find this lost Forum treasure trove. (and yes guys, this place is starting to hop again too)

after people get tired of that, you can get rid of the drop down menus and move the forums to their rightful place along side the rest of the main buttons where they belong.

I also noticed that theres two ways to access the Anime/Manga forums. Man, that sucks for us... we were here long before they were and we MANIAC FORUMERS deserve to be un-buried and put front and center again under the spotlight.

I promise to have something interesting to say, too!
