Gilmore Girls is so touching...

The show chronicles the daily life of Rory Gilmore, a 16-year-old outcast, and her 32-year-old mother Lorelai. The basis of the show is Lorelai raising her daughter, who is now the same age she was when she got pregnant. Lorelai has worked her way up to managing the local inn where Rory part-times after school and the two have a relationship that is more sister/sister than mother/daughter. 'Gilmore Girls' is an intelligent show with quick, witty dialogue that often refers to literature, music, movies, and pop culture. Each actor really gets a chance to inhabit his or her role because each character, even the most peripheral, is defined by a very distinct personality and not just an occupation. "Gilmore Girls" takes a unique, thoughtful, and complicated view of the relationship between the generations. Occasionally one woman will step outside her role and be a Mom or Kid to one of the others. I would recommend anyone in search of intelligent, witty television to watch this show which is full of love. It is a very touhching show!
