Default 747-xxx

How well is that thing supposed to fly in Casino Royale?
I could point at a number of technical problems with reengining a 747-200 that way...

It's feasible, employing the same technologies to get an X-Wing fighter to fly.

I recall the campaign when the Superman series came out in the 80's - "You WILL believe a man can fly!"

Well hey, in the last movie we had an Antonov fly straight through a concentrated beam of solar energy and continue to stay aloft for a good while afterwards, so anything's possible.

I am rapidly forming the opinion that the best thing in DAD is Halle Berry in her bikini.

Oh, maybe. I remember the plane whose wings telescoped inside to look like a car.

Was it Q who invented 747-XXX? Q is deceased but there have been several Bonds... is there a new Q?
