I love it! An umpteen thousand pound wrecking ball taps a building. Something about that trailer was so purely Simpsons that I feel like they may have gotten their groove back for the movie. I just wish they would have done it 10 years ago!

yeah I loved the dancing bunnies... I'll have to ask Matt about that when I see him down in san diego this summer! LOL!
and yes it should have happened MORE than 10 years ago.

the good news is, even if the Simpsons movie tanks, we're still getting 13 new Futurama episodes on Comedy channel... and thats a good thing!!

I really try not to watch any trailers for the Simpsons movie... cause I don't want to spoil it, but it's soooo difficult to avoid.

Add me to the list of people that used to love the simpsons but got away from it the last 3-5 years and don't have any plans to see the movie. I only thought the line about "laughing at something that's funny" was actually funny. Rest of the trailer seemed pretty bland.

Just got back from seeing it. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised. I had my doubts, but they went out the window after the first five minutes. Consistantly funny all the way through, great voice acting (especially Julie Kavner, but where were Patty and Selma?), good animation, loved it! There were a few cheap shots, but otherwise very, very funny. Highly recommended for uber-fans and non-fans alike!
