How could you have missed the movie in theaters? It just opened yesterday.

Er. Maybe where he lives it played so bad that they pulled it out after half a day?

Or are you in a different country and it hasn't been up there yet?

Saw it yesterday. It was very funny, especially Bart's full-frontal sequence. And I'll be hearing "Spider-Pig" sung around my house for the rest of the summer. Well worth the matinee to see in theaters.

And dsilva? Bart's message on the chalkboard: "I will not download this movie off the internet!"

I thought it was okay, I had a few chuckles but no LOL moments however- I guess to me the Simpsons just aren't as funny or fresh as I remember them when I first started watching.

we were trying to figure out where exactly were Patty and Selma also.. I think their part was extremely short in the movie (like blink-and-you'll-miss-it quick) I dug the scene where all the church goers run to Moes and all of Moes runs into the church!!

histerical!

also Dsilva, you call yourself a Simpsons fan? You should be ashamed of yourself. what do you mean by "I missed the movie in theaters" the movie was only released Friday, July 27th 2007 and yet here you are begging people to tell you where to download it off the net for free.
That says to me, "wow fuck all their effort to make a good movie, I'm going to go steal it off the net because I'm too cheap to pay for a ticket"
uh huh...
I'll tell you where you can go, but you wont like it.

I thought it was funny....but it did not bring anything new to the Simpson's universe for me...I do not know what I was expecting, but something better would have been nice..

And was showing Bart's penis really needed?

Haven't ever been a Simpsons faithful, but I found this to be a very amusing flick. I'm probably going to hell because I laughed hysterically at Homer's "This book doesn't have any answers in it," line.

I never once thought it was supposed to bring anything new to the Simpsons universe... what were you expecting, the birth of another Simpson? Patty and Selma to get Married? Police Chief Wiggum to catch a crook?
besides...dont forget that Maggie spoke her very first word in the movie and thats good enough for me.

the writers have been trying for so long to come up with a script that was 90 minutes (at least thats the story I heard) my suggestion was to create three shows and edit them together so that the payoff for all three comes at the end of the movie (kinda like a Simpsons anthology movie)
