I'll give it a shot, hwell I'll give any science fiction or fantasy a shot but I'm not hopeful.
I'll admit it, I was and am a big fan of the best awful movie ever made, Flash Gordon and I don't see a serious version flying. |

I don't mind the show, but that's not the direction I would of taken the new series. What is appealing to me about Flash Gordon, is Ray Guns, Space Ships and crazy environments & worlds. The whole "outer space" thing is missing from this new show.

i might be wrong, but in past FLASH Gordon serials and stuff, didnt Flash, Dale and co. STAY on Mongo once they left Earth?
needless to say, I dont watch this tripe anymore, not even Wednesday nights after Gohst hunters. I saw the trailer ads that showed "the hawkmen". Good lord what a joke. I watched one episode up until the point where Flash's father walked out of a portal on Earth, I knew it wasnt going to be his "father" just a look-a-like... thats where my patience for this series ended.
