My wife, being the huge Harry Potter fan, was elated and extremely depressed within the span of a minute of finding out. Excited that the next one is on the was, saddened that it's the last one.
Whatever the case, we'll be in the bookstore at midnight on the 21st.

That's somewhat better...
After last time, I'm planning not to go to the bookstore at midnight. Last time we went to a Barnes & Noble with all sorts of special events, and even though we got there before 9 we were still something like 325th in line. We didn't get our copies until after 1 am. So this time we'll head over to Meijer's at 11:30. They'll have the book on sale at midnight, they'll have it at a discount, and it shouldn't be such a zoo. So that's where I'll be in 169 days!

When we went to B&N for the last one, my wife actually got there when the store opened to get her ticket for the line, and ended up something like #20. After which, she went back home, and we went back in the evening.

I am excited about it too. We had bought the series in hardback years ago for my oldest son. We let him keep it. So, I have yet to replace the series for my two younger ones. I plan on doing that someday. Because it is a great story to read together.
Here is a link to were fans are dishing out $65 for the last book. I have to say I would probably spend it too. Harry Potter Deluxe 7th book    |
