So firstly, I'm with Rapps. I've never heard of this Imus character until this became news.

Secondly,

this girl:

says it much better than I could.

She got on exactly why I'm more pissed about the ho part than the hair comment. Good for her ripping him a new one.

I think everyone needs to get a thicker skin. If the asshole says something that offends you, don't listen to him. If it's a public figure, don't promote his public image. Simple. I wish there was an ignore function for my tv. Anna Nicole- Ignore! Rosie O'Donnel- IGNORE! Samantha Harris on Dancing With the Stars- IGNORE!!!

Ann Coulter must be at 14:59 on her relevance clock, cause she was on tv yesterday talking about Imus.

Why? Why, Lord, why does skeletor have to have something to say about all of this? Go back to looking for relevant and pithy jokes that aren't funny about things that only you care about when in large groups of people who laugh nervously and then whisper how wrong it was to say.

I'm an Imus fan. Even at his crassest, it's not at a bottom feeder level, usually. It's more of the "naughty boy" variety. In between the jokes, you have some seriously good interviews and observations.

I consider him one of my heroes, as far as broadcasters go. Anyone who has done radio will tell you that when shooting from the hip, freestyling it on the air, sometimes stuff slips out. And you can't get it back.

Imus needs to give out his apologies to the girls on the team. That's it.

Jackson and Sharpton are doing their usual grandstanding, and the I-man doesn't owe them squat.

In fact, when all this has died down, I hope he shoves a couple of rhetorical hot pokers at both of their asses, especially if they do something stupid.

I dunno. Imus bores me. But what I do find weird is that he wears a concealed gun while in his studio doing his radio show. You might think he's worried about someone breaking into the studio and all...but...he does the show from his house!

No, he splits time from his ranch studio and his NY studios at WFAN.
