Global warming guilt. Carbon neutral. Carbon offsets. Feh. There's a whole lot more to it than that.

Forget feeling guilty and do something about it! But anyone who does that can't call themselves a Republican since acting requires acknowledgement of a problem and that we actually are greatly involved in its cause.

As far back as I can remember, I've been taught by elders to respect the world, and have never littered, tagged, defaced, or in any way destroyed something that wasn't mine...ie, anything on this planet. My mentality does NOT fathom the wastage and bloody ostentatiousness of some of the oversized vehicles people drive in the name of status and luxury. I don't buy into recreational sports that deface natural resources and wildernesses (off road vehicles). The desert surrounding Victorville in the Mojave Desert, for example, is littered for miles with garbage furniture and abandoned car and shotgun shells used in shooting up all of this stuff. Shall I go on?

Is it too much for some people to stomach that there are those of us that want to live in a world that's not being trashed and gouged out by petty and selfish interests?

Is that really too much to comprehend?
