This is about the DS9 crew accidently bringing Tribbles to the 24th century when they were thrown back in time.
Worf had said Tribbles were annihilated by the Klingon Empire in the 23rd century.

Wouldn't bringing the Tribbles from the 23rd Century to the 24th be a violation of the Prime Directive or Starfleet's Temporal Directives? Would anybody really care?

Wouldn't bringing humpback whales be the same violation? I guess if it serves you interest . . .

I saw this episode once. Why did they want to bring back tribbles?

If memory serves, Odo liked them and took one.

Target practice for Worf, should keep the population down on DS9.
