Every year for the last 6 years, I've always been on top of and anticipating
the season for BB. This season, I've been kind of ho-hum about the whole thing, until the last episode. I'll explain why in a sec. But real quick, here's my thoughts/assessment of each guest in the house. Amber Nice girl. Kinda whiny. Looks like she's got a severe cold whenever she cries onscreen, which makes her nose grow twice its size and turn red. Ugh. She needs to stop crying. And her hair needs to decide what it wants to be. It's awful. Like somebody killed a poodle and stuck it on her head. NOT pretty. Jen Eye candy. I have a suspicious feeling that she's a blonde that dyed her hair black. She's THAT ditzy. So much so, she puts all the blondes present and past to absolute shame. She leaves them in the dust. She's the spaciest chick that show's ever had. Unbelievable. I feel my IQ points oozing out of my ears every time she shows up on screen. And now she's HOH??? Oy! Her t-shirts must be burned. She's so caught up in the world of ME, I can only guess if she realizes she's on a TV show. Carol Out of the running and out of the house. A sweetie. She had sass. I liked her. Tis a shame we didn't see her catfight with Jessica, and see Carol win. Jessica A stuckup chick with an attitude and charisma stuck in high school. No personality. Thinks of herself of being way more than who she really is. And the sooner she learns that, the sooner she'll get herself out of that country-fied valley girl mode. Her voice is, my goodness, irritable. Daniele Kinda cute. Nice. Not a threat in any way, yet. Smart, in a casual way so far. But to what degree, I have no idea. Joe Gay. Yep. He's gay. A bit flighty. Dick Cool guy. LOVE's to talk. Willing to talk about anything, but you find yourself loving the guy for trying. The most down to earth dude there. Has the creepy potential to fly off into jerk-mode and piss someone off at any given moment. He did, as a matter of fact, towards Jen. Great- now Jen will probably work to evict him. Kail Wonderful lady. Fun, VERY smart, and I daresay, the smartest one in the house. Maybe the ONLY smart one. In this group, you will not find a Kasar or a Dr. Will in the bunch as far as strategists go. Kail will just have to play chess with herself I guess. But she's keeping her profile low, and non threatening. Very smart to having the guys shield around her for now. I just hope the guys do not prove her downfall in the long run. She really has a chance of going far, and I hope she does. Dustin Gay. But more down to earth. A good listener. Mike I likable everyman kind of guy. Non threatening. Hasn't shown much in the way of intelligence as he has shown a willingness to chill and wait and see what happens next. Eric Great guy. Glad he's picked as America's Player. Totally fun to watch him do his work for the votes. I really hope he goes far in the game. He seems more willing to strategize and think things through than the rest of them. He has to go far. Nick Another beefcake, former Minnesota Viking. Youtube revealed he's played the gay angle early in life, but digs chicks preferably. Joe constantly teases around him. Ick. Sorry, not for me. But believe it or not, Jen getting all girly around him was WORSE. Disturbing in an almost psychotic way as she stares at him with those lost-in-space eyes. But Nick seems determined to play the middle of the field with just about everyone in the house. He has that alliance with Kail, but he seems to be working in a quietly non-committal way to a lot of things that get discussed in the house among the guests. It's a bit enigmatic. Jameka I really like her. Another down-to-earth girl, keeping it real. And fun. Zach I haven't decided what to make up my mind about him yet. I've read a few things online that put him in a bad light. But nothing that shows up on TV or youtube yet. Another beefcake. As I touched on earlier, there are no candidates for Mensa enrollment among anyone in this bunch, save for Kail. The fun of this show for me is with the strategies and alliances that get formed, and to see how long secrets of any type live out in the course of the game. The rumors, gossip and backstabbing are secondary to me. What's funny is that there's a chess board in the middle of the main garden at the house, and I've yet to see anyone touch it. Sadly, that may prove quite telling. :OhWell: In the long run, I feel we may get to see some really ugly situations in this house this season. The sticks of dynamite are lying all about the house. It's just a matter of time before one of them goes off. But as it stands now, Jen is the HOH. You could not have picked a worse case scenario since most everyone hates her, with Dick being the brave one to stick out his neck and say so to her face. Adios Evil Dick.

I don't have showtime, and the live feeds can be boring as they are only
worth watching if edited with highlights, which can amount to about maybe 15 to 35 minutes worth out of 3 hours, if that. But unfortunately, I do not have Showtime. ![]() And, I missed the last episode, so I went online to see who was nominated for eviction. And in predictable Jen fashion, this was what I saw at the BB8 site: ![]() I busted out laughing when I saw his face. I mean, talk about looking madder than a wet hen. This guy looks like he's ready to eat muffins by Metallica and crap steel wool. The picture says it all. TOTALLY classic. Just seeing them in the diary room together had me rolling. He. looks. PISSED. I love the guy, but damm. That's just too funny. *** I just completed watching/reading the recap of the last ep. Wow. Jen is unbelievable. It amazes me how much of Jen thinks of Jen. Most of us dwell on ourselves for one reason or another, but to the Jenth degree? This is a woman that is the true living definition of the word CLUELESS. There are brain cells in her head that have yet to be introduced to each other. We are talking several MILLIONS of synapses in her brain stem that remain dormant at such a critical level, I'm sure she's developed the ability to put herself into a comatose state by just thinking about it. Her personality, or lack of, really shone through when the HOH room was made up for her, and there were old pictures of her and family pictures of her she hated, and because SHE didn't look good in them, took them down. Even fam pics. :OhWell: She really is the truest Jen-bot I've ever seen. Totally insensitive and self-absorbed, somebody needs to hit that switch in the back of her neck to shut her off, prop her up inside a broomcloset, and close the door. Planet Jen desperately needs to go the way of Alderaan.

That is funny. It may be worth watching Tuesday and Thursday to see how it plays out.

What I really want to know is, if he wins the Power of Veto, what will he do with it?
Save himself? Or his daughter? Hmm. The mind reels. ![]()

Amber
PLEASE STOP CRYING!!! My goodness. I know she's an emotional person. I get that. I'm not trying to be obtuse here. But I cannot recall a guest crying as much as her over so many things. I really like her, but it's got to stop. She needs to listen to Jameka and get herself together, and get her gameface on. Outside of that, she's playing the game well. But I really didn't care for what Jen did to her and Joe. That was uncalled for. I did not blame her for crying after that. It was ridiculous. Jen She just gets worse and worse as her stay in the house continues. The way she plays the game, the way she talks to everyone in the house, the way she glorifies herself and the way she sees the world is so freakin' warped, it amazes me that she lives like this in real life. People constantly are telling her that her behavior is self-centered, and the fact that she shrugs and accepts it as a given? Are you kidding me? And she doesn't care. She flat out doesn't give one crap about any bit of sense anyone would throw her way. And when she threatened Joe and Amber to their faces prior to the POV competition that they either do what she says, or she'll put up ones closest to them? The absolute gall. She needs to go. IQ points drop whenever she's on screen. Jessica With all the snippy remarks everyone in the house has been making in the house, she is literally sitting in the sweet spot. No one is paying her any attention. No one is talking to her anything derogatory, and she's keeping quiet. If she realizes this, then she may go far in the game yet. I can't stand her voice stuck on helium-mode, but if she's playing the game, she's doing good. Daniele Continues to being a sweetheart, and willing to stand up for herself with the same moxy her Dad has. Nice. Joe Eh. He hasn't done much for the game, or the house, other than share opinions and love to talk. If he stays, it will be a shock. Dick I really want him to stay in the house. To see him mend things with him and his daughter would be something to see. Even if he doesn't win, to see him reconcile with his own would be invaluable. Kail Doing well. Playing the game and keeping her cards close to the vest. I just hope the 3 dudes she chose to ally with won't ruin things for her. And I have a premonition, at least 2 of them will. Dustin Amber's shoulder to cry on. And likable. No serious gameplay from him yet. Time will tell. Mike Doing well, and keeping things as casual as possible. He hasn't expressed a deep disrespectful word about anyone yet. And probably is the only ally Kail should rely on. Eric An okay guy, but he's beginning to get on my nerves. The subplot of him as America's player is ridiculous fun, I'll admit. But it's starting to wear thin. I'd like to see others tackle the role. Not just him. Plus, as far as playing the game, he doesn't have any real concrete alliances as of yet. His canoodling with Jen won't help him either if he keeps that up. Nick What a big, dumb goof. Big Brother continues its long standing tradition of including beefcake sized goofs that do well in competitions, but suck in the strategy department. Nick is proving himself to be the biggest goofball by sharing the secret of his alliance with Kail to Daniele, and sharing his desire to hookup with her all in the same breath. The poor schmuck looks smitten, which may prove his downfall in the game. Jameka I love this girl. She tells it like it is. However, that ultra-weird WTF moment with Zach has me concerned. That came out of nowhere. My guess is there will be friction between the two in the future of this game. We'll see. Zach I still can't peg this guy. There's so much attention to most of the other guests, he's hard to figure out. But that spat with Jameka had me concerned. Why talk to her like that? It came across so uncalled for, it bordered being on a Jen-level. Talk about awkward. Kail might want to ally herself with Eric or Dustin, and replace Zach. Did I sense a thin veneer of psychosis? Hope not.

I must have been out of the room. What happened with Jameka and Zach.
They can't have anyone else be America's Player. He's our chance to influence the game. If they made everyone do tasks for the audience, it would interfere with the game too much, destroy the group dynamic and really deprive the players of a chance to really compete. Amber should toughen up. This will only get harder.

Well, instead of putting in my thoughts after each ep, each week would just as well
suffice. And as it has been a couple of busy weeks for me, being with family, then this assessment will have to do for now. But for what I've seen, how I felt for most of the guests then SO differs now. Amber STOP CRYING!!! stopcryingstopcryingstopcryingstopcryingstopcrying stopcrying stopcryingstopcryingstopcryingstopcryingstopcrying stopcryingstopcrying!!!!!!!!! Did she agree to be on this show so we can gaze at her nasal dripping sob fests? And her love for her pet/kid comment had me really wondering about her priorities. EvilDick called her out on it, and I couldn't blame him for it. Jen I could not STAND her for the first 3 weeks of the show. I wanted her gone. I still do. But, for some reason, her intelligence has been seeping through bigtime in the game, and now that her brain is showing through in so many ways (on and off the show, as youtube evidence provides), I still despise her but now I'm beginning to respect her just a little bit more. This helps me to tolerate her a great deal more than before. And I think that if one begins to look A VERY LONG WAY past her self-glorification, you can see potentially a real person that knows what they're doing. There is a light at the end of that tunnel, it's just not that necessarily bright. But it's enough to read a book by. Jessica The blonde girl with the annoying voice, surprise-surprise, is getting less annoying. She actually seems a lot sweeter in nature than when her rival was around. With her claws so well retracted, it's at a point you can hardly believe she has them at all. Plus, her banter with Eric is cute. She's very much under the radar. But that cannot last for too long. Daniele With chums I talk to about the show at work, we all agree she is more of a problem than her dad. Her "whatever" attitude is damaging, and appears only willing to listen if she is heard first, which I understand. It's easy to see that her feelings towards her dad are at such a level, she cannot fathom facing them, of all places, on public TV. That part does suck. And as touching and heart wrenching as the scenes she has with her Dad have been, I could not help but feel this all should've taken place behind closed doors. Privacy does have its place. Sure, it's good tv to the producers, but on this show privacy goes out the door the moment you step in the house. I want the reconciliation between the two to happen. I really do. But under genuine circumstances. Not because of some stupid alliance minutes before a food competition. Dick And that brings me to the Dad. I love this guy. I find myself pulling for him and rooting for him with each episodes. As crass as he is, as vulgar as he is, he's not an idiot, and definitely no pushover. He rocks. I love it when he calls things as they really are without flinching. But I can also see how that approach to everything can rub some the wrong way when misapplied. Especially in regards to claiming Jen as the one who voted for Kail (when it was Eric!), and not letting go of that premise. Or with his daughter when it comes to, well, anything else. He's a pitbull. But to see him pull back with every muscle in his body NOT to lash out or be offensive to Daniele is so noble, it's at a near heroic level. It's simply amazing to watch. So far, he's about my most favorite guest this show has ever had. And yes, I have to admit to some bias. I am Dad too, ya know. So those heartstrings are easily pulled when any father tries to reach out to their own kid. Kail At the beginning, I loved her. I saw her as smart, funny, and with much promise... not anymore. It's like when it came to intelligence, somebody switched brains one night between Kail and Jen, and now Jen is showing up the smart one, and Kail is left scratching her head about what move to make next. It's unbelievable. Her alliance is hanging by cobwebs, and her ability to strategize appears dead in the water. For someone starting so strong, and to end up so weak so soon, is deadly in that house. She cannot last much longer in there. Unless a brain cell decides to kick in with some life, there's nothing for her to keep her there. Not even to the Jury House level. Dustin His HOH started off as a wild card guess with how he would play the game, but sure enough, he went with the crowd for who to put up for noms. It's good to see someone finally having fun in the house as HOH, far more than anyone has all season. But I have to confess, his alliances don't look all that impressive. It's as if he's waiting for something to happen. Look. Not everybody can sit under the radar. Eric For the first time this week, I began liking the guy. It's like he's growing on me. Kinda like a mushroom. Albeit a non-toxic one. But not one to trip you out either. His Player antics are beginning to have a definite effect in the house in ways nobody could have forseen. And to know that nobody is looking his way is making the show that more fascinating. But, if he slips up, and he might, he's done. No reprieve. He'll be the next one packing. Still, it is fun to see just how far he goes. And the after-effects of his actions as they ripple through the house. Nick Bonehead. Jameka I still love this girl. Great character. And doing well to keep her nose clean. A strong one, she is. Zach And sadly, the worst for last. When he started talking about that S&M show at a "comic book convention in Atlanta", I knew right away he was talking about DragonCon. It's a cool convention in many ways, but also very much a freakfest in others. However, his choice to speak about what he saw there had my jaw dropping. I've never seen the stuff he described in too vivid and embarrassing detail. Just because I know where things are, doesn't mean I have to go there. And I thank God I haven't. But apparently he did, and thought it no problem to talk about it in public. That's a true idiot. And to see his popularity shrink to sub-levels in the house, on the website polls page, and on the show, is staggering. He needs to go, and be forgotten quick. And as a side note, I went to the website for the show, and read the HOH diary entry from EvilDick. I was shocked to see he also did an assessment of his own for each and every guest. I could not help but admire the dude after that. He's playing the game, and working to reconcile with his kid. And personally, I think that is a juggling act that only a parent can appreciate, and give a nod to. ![]()

I'll have an assessment shortly. All I'll say for now is, my-my. How an opinion of people can change in the house so quickly. It boggles the mind.
It may end up where I'll have no favorites in the house to root for at all. ![]()
