New fall CW show. Dude finds out on his 21st birthday that his parents sold his soul to the devil. He ends up becoming the devil's bounty hunter (like Ghost Rider, but without the flaming skull, I guess). Watched it. Bad jokes abound. It wants to be clever like Buffy or Ghostbusters, but...isn't. I found myself channeling Willow -- bored now. I hear that it's being retooled and Missy Peregrim will be the "love interest" or "friend" or whatever. I don't know if she can save it or not.

Soooo, I watched it last night. I liked it. I'll definitely be checking out next week's episode.

Dang...I forgot about Missy. I might re-watch the pilot, but I really didn't like the original version.

I liked it! For a) a CW show, b) a high-concept single-camera comedy, and c) a show on the FREAKING CW, it was pretty good! I'm in.

Liked it. Thought it was hilarious. I'm glad it's getting a lot of good press. First of all, it's JUST the first episode and for a first episode it's pretty good. If they can find ways to stop it from making it monster of the week and have better depth with the characters and some sort of mythology, it would be awesome.

It wasn't bad. There were definitely some amusing moments, but I liked Chuck a lot better.

I was bored.
Which was very disappointing. |

That was pretty much my feeling, Sis. Still, Missy was cool on Heroes, so I might give it another shot. Maybe.

I thought it was funny. Between Tyler Labine's sidekick (and damn you again, ABC, for cancelling "Invasion") and Ray Wise's Devil, I was laughing throughout. The scene where the Devil is watching someone get smeared by a Zamboni machine was priceless.
Both Jr. and I will continue watching.

I enjoyed it. Tyler Labine was cracking me up with the sharpie in the hospital and also with the leaf blower chasing the dogs. He's a perfect slacker sidekick. Granted, the pilot was directed by Kevin Smith, so who knows how the rest of the eps will play out.
Will keep it on the radar.
