REH’s Solomon Kane movie will start filming this month

In case you don’t know, Robert E. Howard, the creator of Conon the Barbarian has several other great characters; one of my favorites is the puritan adventurer Solomon Kane.

I’ve been following the development of a proposed film for a while and since it looks like filming well start sometime this month, I thought I’d share.

James Purefoy is the lead as Solomone Kane. Other cast members include Max von Sydow, Pete Postlethwaite, Rachel Hurd-Wood, Alice Krige and Mackenzie Crook.
