Default Nim's Island Updates

There are some updates for the Fox and Walden Media's film, Nim's Island.

First of all, over at the SND (France's Distribution site), they have 19 movie stills and the French International Poster, they're pretty cool. Pic number 10 is the same pic that USA Today released earlier this fall, though it's a larger version.

French International Poster

Pic 1, Pic 2, Pic 3, Pic 4, Pic 5, Pic 6, Pic 7, Pic 8, Pic 9, Pic 10,
Pic 11, Pic 12, Pic 13, Pic 14, Pic 15, Pic 16, Pic 17, Pic 18, Pic 19

Here is the North American Poster, btw the official site is almost up and running, only the trailer is available.

Also to coincide with the film, the Nim's Island's novel is being released with a new cover featuring the actors of the movie. Looks pretty cool.

And was over at the MPAA site checking things out tonight and saw that Nim's now has a rating. (Yeah, I know what a place to visit, but my CD drive currently doesn't work and can't play games :-/) Here's what they have up:

Title: Nim's Island (2008)
Rating: PG
Rating Reason: Rated PG for mild adventure action and brief language.
Distributor: Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp.

Not too unexpected of a rating, after all it's a family movie.

There is an early very, spoilery review up at AICN, read at your own risk.

But the most important news for this film, it now has a Premiere date.

Nim's Island will be Premiering at Graumann's Chinese Theatre on March 30, 2008. I guess that'll be a very busy weekend as Wendy Orr (wrote the novel), Paula Mazur (Producer and one of the screenwriters) and Gerard Butler will also be attending Cut2008.

Hopefully, there'll be more news upcoming soon.

Gerard Butler doesn't have a sword or a long beard in this movie? Bah. I was hoping he could kick more Persian butt...

Heh, watch the International Trailer TSH. ;)

Updates again for Nim's.

The UK International Trailer is now up and available for Quicktime and Windows Media.

There is also a Clip available too.

The Official site has had some major updates.

There is now a Gallery, downloads which includes the trailer and Buddy Icons widgets, games with one ready to play, and a story/character background section. 'Tis cool.

And InDi_Gurl, I'm starting to look forward to seeing this, my kidlet will enjoy it.

Oh yeah, TSH, what do you think of the ST11 date move? Bummer eh? A week after Wolverine. I was looking forward to seeing it this December. Ah well, Wolverine will be awesome, not sure of Liev Schrieber though, the USA today pic was cool though.

Yeah, the date move for Trek kinda sucks but at least now they will have time to iron out stuff rather than rushing it through. I will still prolly watch Wolverine since recent word that Danny Huston is part of the cast (he was awesome in the PROPOSITION).
