Is there a place on mania.com that describes the site/organization a bit more? For example, is there any official press releases about the recent website acquisitions mania.com has made of animeondvd.com and comics2film.com?

Yah, read up on that on animenewsnetwork. However, it also seems like mania.com was acquired...

If you look at their privacy policy, it says "Mania is a trademark or registered trademark of Demand Media in the and other countries." I never heard of Demand Media so I did a quick google search and this what I found:

Looks like the multi-million dollar business well spent their money to buy mania.com and are now buying sites like animeondvd.com through mania.com. I wonder who they will buy next?

This redesign is not a coincidence.

I hope this means good things for the mania brand since a multi-million dollar corporation is now behind it!

Seriously, I hope they don't move the bboards again. Three moves in nearly as many years is enough for a while.

i just learned I cant post comments on the main page... all I get is a blank box that says "close" and "ESC KEY" on it.. and i cant eve ntype in the damn box

well... i'm fairly certain I wasnt banned because it seems to have corrected itself and i can resume my fanatical rants (YAY)
the edit button is still not there though.
