Still amazingly good
So, for no readily explainable reason, I'm re-watching Buffy and Angel. I'm on S6 and S3, respectively. I just finished Buffy S6E06 - Once More With Feeling. Goddamn, that was a great episode. I recall not liking the overall arc of Season 6 of Buffy a whole lot, but the seeds for it were planted back as far as season 4. The first 6 episodes definitely played better this time around for me. Angel's just frigging awesome.
Mostly, though, I just wanted to re-iterate that "Once More With Feeling" is pure genius. Oh, and Dawn has a nice rack.

Jakster, that episode was so good in fact that i went to the record store and bought that buffy CD called Once More With feeling it well worth the money!

I've got the soundtrack too. The only thing I don't like about the CD is that Sweet's tap dancing "clicks" aren't in What You Feel. It just feels like something is missing, and it doesn't have quite the same energy as it does in the episode.

I really wish I'd gone to the live theater staging of OMWF a few months back. They play it in an old movie house, and people sing along. It was a fundraiser for some charity related to the local Browncoats chapter.
Unfortunately, WB or Fox or whoever owns the series has put the kibosh on any future such performances, because they want their cut.
