I've listened to it several times now, and it's growing on me. I don't know if it'll be one of my favorites. It always helps to actually hear it in the context of the film though.

Came across this link while sifting through reviews of what people think of "Another Way to Die." It's a much higher quality than the version we're currently linked to.

If it grows on me, I'll be mad.

This will grow on me but I feel it won't with the general public. It would be so much better with just Alicia Keyes singing and without the assinine "whoas". I do like how the lyrics in the chorus refrence Casino Royale.
I'm sure Arnold can work with this for the score - I really hope he creates some sort of ominous melody out of that piano riff. |

Instrumentally I've got to give it props, I just can't stand the lyrics. They remind me way too much of The Man With the Golden Gun, which is the only title track I simply cannot listen to. Still, Arnold should have no problem incorporating the title track into the score.
Kara, it probably will grow on us all. Like a fungus, acne, warts or carbuncles.

I hate it. I wish they'd gone neo-Bassey.

No really, I'm beginning to wish they had gone with Winehouse.

The way I see it, this new take on Bond is that he's a something of a wreck. Who better to cover the theme, then a singer who is also a complete train wreck, physically, emotionally, mentally...?
Just my $ 0.02. .
