I wanted to post my thoughts early this morning, but didn't have time. Now you stole them, Strider! Now I have to sound like a broken record and say that this show gets better and better! And to think, McG has a hand in it!

I loved all of the back story we got on Sam and Dean's family history. And Mitch Pileggi was great!

I still think Sam and Dean will ultimately end up fighting off both the angels and the demons.

He has to stop whatever the yellow-eyed demon's endgame is. At least that's what I took from it.

I love how they're making the original hunt for the yellow-eyed demon (Azazel) and Lilith's threat all add up to a greater story. Dean wasn't really meant to stop anything in the past. Castiel states that. He was only meant to learn the whole of why his family was chosen and that there's a larger scheme at work than he was thus far aware of. Didn't their mom at some point apologize to Sam, after she was dead? This would be why, right?

And that creepy demon kissed her with her own father's mouth!

What a show.

So who else loved the "Monster Movie" episode? I think that Supernatural has a great track record with its "concept" episodes, and this one was no exception. I loved that the episode was in B&W, the classic music tracks, the cheesy movie scenes and dialogue....the whole thing was great.

"Hey bar wench! Where's that beer?"

i saw where they were going with it, but was dissapointed because Wolfman and Mummy got so little screen time.

near the end of the episode, I was hoping for at least one shape shifting scene of Dracula turning into the Wolfman and then into the Mummy.
I guess those scenes dont exist in the movies ehh?

Oh man, I'm so bummed that this show is tanking in the ratings. It is absolutely brilliant! Last night's was amazing! This an the show with Anna Paquin's tits are the two best shows on right now (and when BSG returns, then it'll be THREE best shows). Seriously, they're the only ones I am super eager to catch every week. I suppose I'd add Terminator to the list as well, but not quite as much.

Did I mention that I love this show. If Supernatural showed me Anna Paquin's tits, I'd buy all of the season sets on DVD and Blu-Ray. Twice. Hell, if they showed me Jamie's tits (she was hot), I'd buy all of the seasons on DVD.

While I agree it's absolutely brilliant, it's not exactly tanking in the ratings.

This season's ratings have been higher than any other season's so far. Relative to other networks, yeah, Supernatural's ratings aren't very good, but they are very strong for the CW. I think the average rating this season so far has been like 3.5 million viewers, while the average of last season was like 2.5-3 million. (I think Supernatural is the CW's #2 rated scripted show)

Also consider it's up against, what, Survivor, Grey's Anatomy, and The Office? Against that competition, it's awesome that it's actually gaining viewers.

PS I tried to post this last night, but I couldn't log in for some reason.

That makes me feel better, TV. But I'd be even happier if the season DVD sets had boobies.
