Based from some news/articles in the net. The movie ending was changed and they deleted some major scenes. Some say that the ending supposedly be a kissing scene of I don't know who and the X-Kids had more scenes that did not make it in the sequel. What should the ending scene be? What are the deleted scenes? Can sombody answer this...

i think something they might have deleted was scott laying a big wet one on the professor. i mean, when jean was talking though the prof, didnt it seam like scott may have been forgetting he was getting that close to his old mentor there?

Actually the scene that was cut was supposed to be Jean in astral form through Prof X kissing Scott but budget constraints caused them to cut corners and instead of filming the scene they edited in the Whoopi and Demi kissing scene from Ghost. Test audiences hated it and it was cut from the film.

I would have hated this because after what she went through, I wouldn't have bought the idea of Jean coming to Logan for comfort instead of Scott. To me it would have been a betrayal of her character to choose Logan. She may be attracted to him (Beauty and the Beast) but Scott is the guy she loves. I would have lost respect for her character had she flaked out like that. |

Do you think some of the deleted scenes with the X-kids may have been some of them like Jubiee Lee using their powers?

I guess that many additional cast like Gambit and Beast whom i thought was being in the movie did have scenes but it did not make it, how sad... |

There is no proof that there were ever any scenes that involved Jubilee using her powers. There was a rumour being circulated that a commercial was seen with her using her powers, but that was unsubstantiated and probably false. Shot scenes are, of course, frequently cut, but scenes involving SFX rarely get so far into the final cut and are taken out at the last minute. That is simply wasted money.
There were, however, probably longer versions of the museum scene that included all of the students, including Jubilee and Kitty. Just as we got a lot more of the students on the first X-Men DVD, I imagine the same will be true for this DVD. I doubt any more of Beast or Gambit will be on the DVD. Their larger cameos were part of hat is called the "Dark Cerebro" scene, which showed many mutants worldwide experiencing power overloads, much like Mystique did when Dark Cerebro was first activated. Gambit supposedly was to be in a pub when his powers wonked out, while Beast would transform into his blue furred form. These scenes would cost tons of money (and require extensive designs for Beast) and were likely cut early on. *IF* there was any footage shot, it would be extremely raw and would make little sense without the FX. Don't count on them being on the DVD. I'd say the most we can hope for is an extended Hank McCoy TV interview; perhaps the original footage which was displayed on the television, but in full screen. ------------------ "That which does not kill us...makes us stranger." - Trevor Goodchild, Aeon Flux |

We still don't have proof if there were larger scenes that should be shown inn the movie. And your right because if they were larger scenes why would they cut it. Well, that gives us proof... |

NOW,don't yell if i am wrong cuz i read 5 pgs of the novel at hastings:
in the scene where mutants escape from the mansion with colossus, jubilee and the others r shown more, like running through the woods for 2-4minutes,with some words spoken. and i heard a rumor, don't think it's true, that Shadowcat,in the same scene, was left behind, and the panel was closed, but she ran through it,holding a teddy bear???!!! see why i think it's a lie? |
