I like the hair....background could've been changed but who am I to argue about backgrounds?....

Parker's Portfolio Preview #1
by localhero

I like the overall look of this, only complaint would be the photos not looking like photos......

Grey Ghost Movie
by Kombat Wombat

nice composition though I'm ignorant of the Grey Ghost umm thing...the text might've had more effect if it was different....

Dominoes
by Chicoceniza

not bad, like the clothing....looks abit poser-like...

new warriors: night thrasher
by Ed Cheng

nice and simple...face looks flat abit...

Don as Beast
by rockajimmy

this is good, try to ged rid of the little white jagged outline...

Mystique turns to her daughter for help.
by x-men-files-fanof2005

the misture of the two pics is good, the eyes seem alittle flat...

Mockup
by CoffeeCat665

nice composition and mood, wall seems alittle uniform.....

Storm 1
by Miss Jellybrain

always nice to see freehand stuff..even if the artists are sometimes self-critical ....

phoenix
by roguephoenixomega

hey not bad for being silly at work.....

Poison Ivy After Hours
by Ed Hopkins

very nice, some of the leaves might be better if they weren't as shiny....

x-rated girls
by stillhbk

hmmm appropriate name, as for ideas why not some DC girls?

Alleybat
by coinbox

moody is appropriate here,bat-sign needs more work...

Phoenix

the mystique turns to her daughter for help by xmen files fanof2005 was very good art, especially good for a first manip.i liked the idea and the file name X109:mutant:rogue in the corner was a nice bit.u could give more glow to the eyes, next time, and also i would have liked more rogue.half-half,u know?

but all in all it was a nice piece and might interest me to do something like it,jean/pheonix type deal.

uir

poison ivy: maybe match up the greens. some of the hair loses it's definition.

parker's portfolio: neat little stuff here. i'm thinking of stuff to add, just can't think of anything right now.

grey ghost: interesting. your bottom text is lost in the explosions. trust me Jennifer Connely gets billing over Dalton right now. it's a great concept, just a little touch up here and there and your there.

dominoes: hey, it's trish. i've seen the original pic so i'm pretty sure what was added. i like the hair and the face. the fabric on the upper body is well done, nice wrinkles. some edges need cleaning and smoothing.

night thrasher: look at any of my other uirs for this series.

beast: he's just blue. trust me dude, go through college, especially if your an aspiring wrestler....education is a wonderful thing.

mystique: nice job of adding rogues head. i can see what your were trying to do, and in time you'll be able to do it. i would work on the eyes, they are very painty and not very yellow.

mockup: i like what i see, just wish it was larger.

storm1: naughty scanner, nice sketch. can't wait for the colored version.

phoenix: nice flames...i'd love to see more glows from the flames.

poison ivy: you are a pattern maker fool! never thought of that. wow. really nice stuff. nice work, no complaints....must go play with pattern maker.

xrated: nice compilation. i like the opaque characters in the background.

alleybat: very dark and very cool. i like the gritty feel.

phoenix: i wish i still had the original to compare, i had a pc meltdown and lost that image. again as i said before, wow. your best work. superb flames, nice interaction with the phoenix, really well done.

citys last hope: i agree, a dramatic background would help. hmmmmm.....you could go the classic rooftop...his pose appears he is looking down.

birds of prey: as always, stunning.

My first front page !!

Rebecca Romijn as Poison Ivy by joker21:
Her legs are very painted.

Parker's Portfolio Preview #1 by localhero:
Kool cant wait to see the rest.

Grey Ghost Movie by Kombat Wombat:
Very well put together, I agree ali on the text but its is still well done.

Dominoes by Chicoceniza:
Not bad could uses a nice background to really make it standout.

new warriors: night thrasher by Ed Cheng:
Looks good clean up the edgels/curves a bit loose the stair look and try some background.

Don as Beast by rockajimmy:
Cut past and recolor..mmmmm.... make cleaner cut and if your unable to make a certain effect think of a differnt thing to do or at least try the effect. You could have made him the old beast that wasnt furry, just a thought. Keep trying you ll get better and dont be afraid to experiment you might surprise yourself.

Mystique turns to her daughter for help.
by x-men-files-fanof2005:
Nice combination with the two bodies only complaint is the eyes.

Mockup by CoffeeCat665:
From what I see it looks real nice. COuld you post the link to the larger version, that is if you can link it or maybe e-mail me it??

Storm 1 by Miss Jellybrain:
I say we hang the evil scanner or perhaps burn it at the stake?? Good job cant wait to see the colored version.

Cut--

Action--

phoenix by roguephoenixomega:
Is there any other way to be at work? Not bad, the flames are too light though.

Poison Ivy After Hours by Ed Hopkins:
"floral felonies and botanical badness." LOL thats great. Some of the leaves in on her body look a bit fake due to their brightness, what s the one bright spot on her arm?? Other than that great job fellow front page maker.

x-rated girls by stillhbk:
Nice work, the background looks nice with the transparent images of them.

Alleybat by coinbox:
Good drawing your bat symbol looks different than usually the one on the chest looks nice but the one in the signal nees some more work.

Phoenix by The_Vampire:Spider:
The only bad part about this is that now I have showed potential and need to keep living up to it. Hopefully this isnt a one hit wonder.

A City's Last Hope by Spiderman620815:
Good job, when did Bat-Man get claws... I m a mostly Marvel guy so please enlighten me.

Birds Of Prey Lithographs by DAVID GUIVANT:
Great job, was nightwing ever on the show I only saw a few episodes and then it was gone.

Aww that sucks hope you didnt lose too much. This isnt too far off from the version you saw anyway just some more costume work and editing to the Phoenix. I think I might have one saved close to the one you saw if you want it.

Thanks. Don't you love it when your pic drops on a Friday? And when it's a front page that's double sweet. I thought yours was wicked awesome, BTW.

The bright spot on her arm is bright light from the original base pic. I left it because I assume that Ivy would have grow lights in her garden that could produce similar effects even at night. Plus I like the way it looks on her hair.

Yes a Friday front page is truely sweet, and thanks for the complement.
Yeah now that I know its light it looks better to me, I agree with the hair though looks real good in the light. So how long did it take to do with all those leaves?

The costme is just the same few leaves over and over using a pattern I made in photoshop. The vines were made with a new brush that draws leaves. (Photoshop 7 is very special.)
