nice work kev_incal. I agree the new spiderman is awesome, 3d with celshading. I love mainframe studios (the guys that do the animation), another great artistic vision. sweet looking spidey by localhero. i'll be back later. dperceful |

scare-crow: i'm just not going to say anything here. spidey 2 animated: sweet looking chrome! i like the background alot. batman mugshot: nice work. unexpected visitor: great scene. i like the flashback scenes where he basically says batman's origin is pathetic and he laughs, brilliant. sandra bullock as ww: it's a little big. cleanup some of the edges. nice work on the face. two face: maybe try creating a scarred line or something. for what you did it's ok. when you get more advanced do a little more than just changing colors, work on scarring, freaky eyes, change the expression, etc. samurai jack: i think if they did a live action samurai jack (i hope they don't it's so beautiful as a cartoon, it could not be done justice in real life) they would probably do something like this. simple and it works. batman returns: nice work. i like the roughness your scanner gave it. crappy movie, great drawing. birds of prey: again great work. xmen animated: nice look. nice lighting, makes the costume pop. dead pool: i think some dodging would really help the muscles pop. i love the text. nice work. i'm just going to clump all the gi joes into one: great work. i love the roughnecks (i think that is what sarge's group was called). i like the girls night out and anything with baroness is awesome. great work by all. dperceful |

Dratcat! I did a review, posted it and probably mistyped my username or password so it wouldn't post. So when I went back, all the text was gone!!! Bit of a bug in this system! Will rewrite it later.

I set up a template in excel to do all the hard work of adding the UBB codes.. I have a column for Title, Artist, Comment, and a Score, and the final column pulls them all together in a format I like.. I then copy this last column when I am ready to post a UIR...
Just a little tip for those serious about UIRing... which reminds me.. i have been a bit lapse last week.. I will go back and do a couple tomorrow evening.. ![]() ------------------ Cheers, Local "Is it true what they say about guys with big feet? Yes they do need big shoes." OK, a late UIR and somewhat short, in case I lose it all again:
Spidey by Local Heron: Cool looking drawing and great colours - he almost looks like Peter Porker the Spectacular Spider-Ham, which would've been cool too! Good dramatic feel to it. Batman Returns: Like the man said above, great picture, bad movie! Nuff said. Marilyn Manson by Dperceful: Great creepy looking pic. She does look quite the gothic rock chick. Oh no, that last bit rhymed! I'm become rhyming cat! I was just wondering about the desaturated blue however. Is that intentional?X-Men pic by Kev incal - Great drawing! I salute you, or rather Cyclops does, cause that's what he looks like he's doing. The colours are well done. Good stuff. Dead Pool - another cool picture. Incidently, didn't people think that The Dead Pool didn't quite have the same ring as the previous Dirty Harry movies? GI Joe by Bulwark - great sketch. I don't know the characters really very much, but it still looks nice. OK, that's it for now. ------------------ Meoww! Send in the clowns! |

Samurai Jack - Rico XD: Not familiar with the character, but the poster has a nice(if that is the right word) eerie feel to it.***
Batman Returns - OhmanArt: Wow..that’s all I can say…***** Mystique aftermath - dperceful: if it ain't Manson.. I feel sorry for what you done to the chick nice work but I'm not sure if the eye works.. Kinda looks like a bright light on her eyelid, instead of an eye.. I think its that big shadow under it. The hair looks passable, I think more stray hairs would help it all seems to be clumped together. taken altogether though, a great pic.****X-Men: Animated Cyclops - kev_incal: Very nice and again, different from your usual stuff. I like the style and and you really captured the leather sheen to the costume. Is this the start of a new series in this style? ****Crazy Wade - Cinnder: nice solid work. Good choice of font.*** GI Joe Entries - Various: I am really getting fed up of telly all you guys how damn good you are.. ****------------------ Cheers, Local "Is it true what they say about guys with big feet? Yes they do need big shoes." "So let me fill my children's hearts, With heroes tales and hope it starts, A fire in them so deeds are done, With no vain sighs for moments gone."
