here is a little tidbit on season 3 and the season 2 finale!! -

**Minor Spoiler Alert**

The voice of Jor-El !!! and Bruce Wayne to make an appearace!! wooohoooo.....

the followinf article reveals how Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Perry White and eevn BRUCE WAYNE may make an appearance in the next 2 seasons for Smallville - i personally think this rumour is way kool - and hope that there is some truth in it.

here is the article

Smallville (TV): Executive producer Al Gough talked with TV Guide recently and had two quite pertinent pieces of information. As previously revealed we will hear the voice of Jor-El in the second season finale but Gough is still playing it coy as to who'll voice it - "we got an actor who's certainly meaningful to Superman fans. I can't say who... he is from the Superman movies. It was our first [casting] choice, so we're happy about that. It's not Marlon Brando. I can definitely tell you. Once you hear the voice, you'll know". Gough also revealed some potential cameo/character crossovers next season - "We would like to expand the show a little to incorporate some of those other characters from the [DC] comics. [Exec producer] Miles Millar and I have been talking about Bruce Wayne for two years, and that's something we'd certainly like to see happen in Season Three. We would also like to see Perry White, Jimmy Olsen and potentially Lois Lane - but maybe not her until Season Four".

They should have characters most people wouldn't know they were put in there just for the sake of the character being there, or even that such a character exists outside of the episode, like they did with Maggie Sawyer in Insurgence. They should put in little-known Bronze and Silver Age characters, like Steve Lombard.
