I can't remember being more disappointed since I saw the original punisher movie. Was this movie good??? I'd rather chew on tinfoil than have to waste 2 hours of my life again on this one.
Who thought Eric Bana could act? He was more cardboard (if it's possible) than Val Kilmer's Batman. I tried to care about these characters, but couldn't. Jennifer Connelly and Sam Elliot are outstanding actors but were both limited by a dull script. What the heck was Nolte's doing in this movie??? His whole Crusher Creel deal was cool but what was it doing in this movie? I love Hollywood. Thay can take a good plot and distroy it in 10 minutes force feeding us an over done story arc that, in fact, was crap.
The new "origin" thing really took too long to explain and bored the hell out of me after 10 minutes. Sadly the origin last for what seemed like 1.5 hours of this movie. The wipe screens between sceens were distracting and the multi-panel scene's were headache causing. I actually heard someone say "WHERE DO I LOOK!!!". The Hulk was impressive and actually looked like Bana at times. But as Spawn thaught us, effects alone do not a good movie make.
Over all I can fathom why even the biggest fanboy would see this movie more than once. This may be the movie that kills the comic movie genre for another 15 years.
I give it a 3 out of 10.

Fan: Saying that this movie is going to ruin the comic franchise because YOU didn't like it is idiotic, when so many other fans loved it. Grow up.
