Anime Avalanche - One Year Anniversary
A congrats to Brian Thomas for a year of excellent columns! So what do we have of note in this weeks issue folks?

*First up, quite a bit more stirring in the pot when it comes to Isaac Hayes leaving South Park. I missed the episode where they wrote Chef out of the show (okay...that's putting it lightly), but I'll have to try and catch up on it later. Sounds like the Scientologists can dip their hands into anything these days.

*Looks like Adult Swim just keeps getting bigger and better. Wonder how long before they launch a new network? It's inevitable right?

*As for the DVD releases this week, I'll probably be picking up Robot Chicken Volume 1 as well as Wonder Showzen Season 1 and....well, I must say I'm seriously considering picking up that Astro Boy collection. I really can't afford it though...actually, I take that back. I can afford it, but I'm going to have to convince my landlord that some things in life are more important then rent.
