Wow. Very awesome indeed. Nice drawing, nice inks, nice colours... the only problem I can see is the weird texture in the hair... it doesn't have the proper "flow" at all.

The hair is always a problem to me when I colour pics digitally.I'm not really skilled at coloring at all,and I tend to use too much filters - that's what happened with her hair.

As soon as I have money to buy a tablet for me, i guess it will change...for now I'm stuck with a hidious so-called 'optic' mouse which is a piece of s**t.

Thanks for the kind wods ^^!

To get some texture when I colour hair, I usually just dodge and burn it a bit with a 1 pixel brush, following the flow of the hair to maintain its shape. I'm no expert or anything, of course, but it works.

You are right Lady D you and JJ make a very good team. I have to agree with B that this is very nicely done.

On the hair issue it wouldn't have been so obvious if the filter hadn't send the lines in exactly the opposite direction of the hair flow. If you don't feel comfortable trying the one pixel method he mentioned (Which is tedious but not that difficult) you might at least see if you can force the angle of the filter to follow the lines.

Still a really nice piece and I'm very sorry to hear that things aren't going well for you. I hope it gets better soon and you get your inspiration back.

Another possibility is to use a custom brush of dots like in Dan's hair tutorial for the B&D. Should've mentioned that earlier.
