Alan Dean Foster, who ghost-wrote the original STAR WARS novelization and the first few WARS tie-in novels before THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK was even released, is talking to CINESCAPE about his return to George Lucas' universe.

In the March issue of CINESCAPE, Foster reveals his new novel, STAR WARS: THE APPROACHING STORM, "It takes place between EPISODE I and II. It brings the characters up to the beginning of II, but it's also a stand-alone novel," Foster told us. "I got to be a guest at Skywalker Ranch in order to read the EPISODE 2 script. It was great."
