With Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 2 having officially entered theaters across the globe, we have one week to go before Paramount Pictures unleashes Captain America: The First Avenger for some heavy competition. With that in mind, the studio has decided to push out four more clips from their upcoming summer tent pole via various media outlets. Check all of them out below and sound off with your thoughts.
The action-adventure stars Chris Evans, The film also stars Hayley Atwell, Hugo Weaving, Sebastian Stan, Toby Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Dominic Cooper, Tommy Lee Jones, Stanley Tucci, Derek Luke and Neal McDonough. Helmer Joe Johnston led in the director's chair, based on a script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
Plot Concept: The story will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America.
Captain America: The First Avenger hits 3D/2D theaters July 22, 2011.

MTV splashpage has a great 30 minute interview with Evans for anyone interested.
I heard that Wise resistance is futile. I get the feeling that the flame thrower sequence is a is a bit of a wink and a nod to Evans previous role as the Human Torch.

Damn, the visuals on making Evans skinny, look sick. Does anyone know if it's just Motion Capture, or is this something new ?
I was unsure about how awesome this movie was going to be until I saw the shield fight! Damn this could take it cake! I really truly hope this is the big money winner for this summer! I know I know Harry Plopper! But it is like ok the kid is voldermort we all know that! Not! I am talking out my butt! But still geeks unite! Also one of my friends from high school worked on the conceptual art for the movie! So I am excited to see it!
AlienStatue if they can make giant dinosaurs, a Hulk, Iron Man's armor, make Brad Pitt look like he's 21, and giant realistic thunder smurfs in Avatar, then im sure it's easy to make a dude look small & skinny.
the shield is bad ass. I'm looking forward to next weekend
