Anarticle appearing earlier this month in the HollywoodReporter indicates that Fox 2000 has purchased all rights to GettosakeEntertainment's online, animated strip Venus Kincaid. Fox 2000aims to develop the concept as a live-action feature film.

The Gettosakewebsite describes Venus as a super secret agent, bomb squad expert, diver, pilot and superhuman athlete who is transformed from a 30 year-old woman to a 12year-old girl by a mad scientist. She's still got all her spy-skills, but ismentally and physically 12 years old.

Now she's astudent aboard The Albert Einstein Mobile Adventure School. She's aided by herschool mates: the creative-minded Salina Sanchez, the rival standout MarilynChin, the robot-building genius Ethan Evans, the introverted Chelsea Brattmanand the geology expert Ryan Matthews.

The concept wascreated by Gettosake heads Jeremy, Robert and Maurice Love.

Scott Cherrin ofBrand Management brought the project to Fox and will executive produce. O/ZFilms' Nick Osborne will produce along with co-producer Trevor Engelson, also ofO/Z. Fox 2000 executive vice president Carla Hacken will oversee with creativeexecutive Maria Faillace, who is credited with bringing the project in.
