As if the Sopranos aren't bad enough for New Jersey's rep, now we find out that there was a German U-boat from WWII discovered off the coast.
Impossible, you say? Talk to Robert Kurson, who just cashed a half-million-dollar check from Fox 2000 for the rights to his nonfiction book,
SHADOW DIVERS: THE TRUE ADVENTURES OF TWO AMERICANS WHO DISCOVERED HITLER'S LOST SUB. F2K beat out at least three other studios to snare the book, which follows two divers who dive into history and adventure when they find the U-boat. They find a wreck, but it takes a toll on their lives, and takes the lives of several of their friends.
