You guys will get your wish for G-Force/Gatchaman/Battle for Planets. Its being done CG style and done by the same guys who did TMNT last year. Also not sure on how many Voltrons there were but I beleive the Lions american storyline said that it started out as one robot but a witch or some sort of sorceress broke it into 5 parts (the 5 lions) to hide it. The Giant Robot made up of many small vehicles came after the Lions, or at least in the american storyline, it was made by the Earth Force Alliance to protect earth since Voltron was on aries and couldnt get there. Eventually it did show up in the final episodes of the lion series to help them out.

1st = 5 Lions 2nd = 5 vehicles (cars) i dont think there was a 3rd incarnation, and I'm fairly certain that it never ever broke into 20 parts.

2nd was not 5 cars... it was several different vehicles... I am down with this... jesus, why not, it's Voltron. What's the worst that could happen, if it looks like it will sucks I'll skip it... it's Hollywoods money, not mine.

I really liked voltron when I was a kid. I might still have the lions packed away in the basement. The lions were definitely the best. Didn`t the leader , Keith actually die in one of the episodes and then got replaced by a chick? Anyway, any chance of this being good was destroyed soon as Power Rangers hit the market. Most of their style was ripped off from Voltron anyway. Besides how corny will it being having some dude, yelling out," And I`ll form ..the head!" I would much rather see G.I. JOE or M.A.S.K. Matt Tracker anyone?

JLfriend...they already did Flintstones in the 90s, but given the creative quagmire in Hollywood I bet they remake that as well. I remember as a kid the Voltron toys were cool. I preferred the one with all those different vehicles over the lions. But if you look back at the cartoons they were incredibly animated Power Rangers.
