Foxworthy Gets Animated for FOX

Comedian to lend voice to animated series.

By Associate News Editor     September 16, 2008

Jeff Foxworthy

The FOX Network has given a greenlight to a new animated pilot about dysfunctional family set in the world of NASCAR.

Comedian Jeff Foxworthy will lend his voice to the show. Foxworthy, Nancy Hower and John Lehr will write and executive produce the series.

The network is hoping to repeat the succes they have had with their long runnig hit show KING OF THE HILL.  If HILL ends in the not so distant future this new program could fill it's spot in FOX's lineup.

No other details have been released about additional voice casting for the series.

Besides his work as a standup comedian, Foxworthy hosts the popular game show ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5TH GRADER? for FOX.

"If you like Jeff Foxworthy, you might need a lobotomy." Wish this dumbass would just go away. Him and Larry the idiot boy cable guy.

No. No, no, no. On a side note, King of the Hill isn't redneck humor, it's actually pretty sophisticated. Somehow, it's the only show with heart on network TV. I'm all for trying new things, except for a cartoon with the above mentioned redneck.

I feel ya Star. I left a job because of an irritating coworker who kept saying crap like "get <A class=iAs style="FONT-WEIGHT: normal! important; FONT-SIZE: 100%! important; PADDING-BOTTOM: 1px! important; COLOR: darkgreen! important; BORDER-BOTTOM: darkgreen 0.07em solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent! important; TEXT-DECORATION: underline! important" href="#" target=_blank itxtdid="6782453">er</A> dun." The pay increase was helpful, too. <BR itxtvisited="1" /><BR itxtvisited="1" />As for Nascar, I've been to AMS for a race, and I just don't get it. I can flush the toilet and watch my turds race around in a circle, and it doesn't take up my whole afternoon. If you could guarantee an explosion every 15 minutes, it might be worth it. And a cartoon isn't going to make it any better.<BR itxtvisited="1" /><BR itxtvisited="1" />KotH is pretty good, but I tired of that a while back.

"There's an abundance of stupid people in the world." That is one of my favorite self made lines I like to recite. It fits Jabba The Cable Guy quite nicely. And Foxworthy. Galaga, you think co-workers are bad, when Larry really hit it big with his "phrase," a local hometown football team in the area had it stitched in giant letters on the back of all their uniforms. Welcome to Arkansas, ladies and gentlemen.

FOX really loves them some Jeff Foxworthy... I still can't believe that 5th grader tv show is still on. That thing reeked of stupidity, and yet it still survives. I guess it just speaks to the number of brain dead Americans out there. I could draw parallels more, but I won't.

And lo the seventh (and final) seal of the Apocalypse was sent forth by the Fox network bringing about Armageddon and the end of the world as we know it.
