THE SOPRANOS: Made in America - Jun 12, 2007 - 01:52pm
The first thing is: What kind of a d-bag comments on a show he/she doesn't watch? Those people have too much time on their hands.
Anyway, back to the finale. I enjoyed it. Did I love it? No, but only because I wanted the episode to go on forever because of my fondness for the characters. As was said earlier by other posters, this was a tv show that tried to be about people that also happened to be mobsters. Chase even said that he wanted to have it like every day life, where there's a lot of hum-drum, punctuated by brief moments of exceitment. To his credit, I think that he did just that.
And to the reviewer who wrote that there were a lot of loose ends left at the end, I disagree. the questions that were left were unimportant questions. We know he'll be indicted, we know that silvio won't wake up. We know that Junior is a former shell of himself doesn't remember his former life. These questions were answered, but not put before us in plain black and white. I thought that the show wrapped up every character quite nicely and I enjoyed the heck out of the six seasons of the Sopranos.

LOST: Through the Looking Glass - May 25, 2007 - 01:27pm
Okay, to all commenters that are unsure as to what the deal was with walt showing up, the answer is that it was the black smoke monster. the producers said in the "The Answers" recap show that the smoke monster can read people's thoughts and take shapes, like jack's dad, kate's horse, etc.. the people don't necessarily have to be dead, and I think that Jack's dad is probably alive... remember, his coffin was empty in the pilot. Anyway, it was not walt but the smoke monster. remember, before shannon was shot, walt appeared and he was still alive at that time. it was the smoke monster then and it was the smoke monster in the finale. Nuff said.
