Yes, I know....I wrote footage above the video..
I'll go ahead and add footage to the title
And yes, the new teaser "trailer" before Saw V is supposed to be totally new. When that comes online, I'll pass it along.
Some more treats from the 2008 Scream Awards have popped up online. The first is some teaser footage of the upcoming Friday the 13th coverage which premiered at the Comic Con and Scream Award events. The upcoming re-imagining of Jason stars Amanda Righetti, Jared Padalecki, Jonathan Sadowski, Aaron Yoo, Travis Van Winkle and Odette Yustman. Director Marcus Nispel led the New Lines and WB production, based on a screenplay by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift.
Plot Summary: Returning to the story that started it all, this retelling of the original "Friday the 13th" heads back to summer camp where a mysterious killer is systematically slaughtering the teenage camp counselors.
Here's the footage.
Next up is some footage shown from Twilight, an adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's young-adult vampire novel series, which has been polled as the most highly anticipated movie of the fall after Potter made the move to the 2009 summer season. The Summit Entertainment production stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Cam Cigandet, Kellan Lutz, Anna Kendrick and Taylor Lautner. Director Catherine Hardwicke was behind the camera, based on a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg.
Plot Summary: "Twilight" is an action-packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother remarries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she's ever met. Intelligent and witty, he sees straight into her soul. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Edward can run faster than a mountain lion, he can stop a moving car with his bare hands – and he hasn't aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he's immortal. But he doesn't have fangs, and he doesn't drink human blood; Edward and his family are unique among vampires in their lifestyle choice. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for – a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward & Bella do when James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi) and Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre), the Cullens' mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for her? Based on the Stephenie Meyer book.

And yes, the new teaser "trailer" before Saw V is supposed to be totally new. When that comes online, I'll pass it along. That . . . . was actually good. I felt the intensity of it. The blood coming from the guys mouth as he's being dragged down and the terror in her eyes was nice. The whole "fearing what we can't see" works for me. It's worked in a lot of horror movies in the past. The camera pulling away from the mask out of the eye hole was a nice touch. And then that last bit with Jason running after the girl and swing down with his machete like he was spliting a tree trunk was awesome. So far I'm impressed. But we all know how a well cut trailer can make a movie look like one thing and than the actual movie can be another.
Ive seen this trailer. its very basic. if you want to wait to see it please stop reading. sorry i dont know how to hide spoilers.
it has a few shots of the camp, and the crystal lake sign. the whole trailer has a voice over of pamela vorhees talking about a boy who drown, weak swimmer ,today is his birthday. basically the same speech she gave in part 1. it has a bunch of quick cuts you really dont see much. there is one shot of jason real quick. then some screaming and it ends exactly like the teaser footage does. cool trailer cant wait for the movie.
Nikki Reed is amazing, beautiful and truely talented... ive seen her movies 13, Twilight, and she is suppose to starring in a horror movie named Chain Letter... i seen the trailer on YouTube and it looks really gory... all i know is she better be the last woman standing... Go NIKKI!!!
Supposedly that Friday the 13th footage is NOT the official teaser, just a preview they've been showing at conventions and the awards. The real teaser trailer will be attached with Saw 5 in theaters.
