Kaz, you act like stuff like that doesn't happen in real life.  I guess in fiction people have to be perfect, huh?

Great show. Too bad it is ending. Loved John Noble in LOTR.

This is good television and it is a shame it is going off the air.

If you have a situation where you have 1a and 1b. 1a must be dead for 1b exist.

You then have 1b become 2b and then 3b. You have the body of 1a and 2a. You know 3a is around because you have 3b.

but you don't have 3a... only 3b. when 3b become 4b while pretending to be 4a.

Thus the body that is playing 3b is really 3a. but no one question it as 3b is now 4b.

I have serious issue with lazy writing, when it could have been handled in a totally different way.

I've loved this show up until this final season. It feels very rushed and lazy and disregards nearly everything that has happened before. Seriously disappointed in this final season and it's pretty clear how things are going to turn out.

WTF did you just say?

Kaziklu 1/8/2013 4:11:45 PM

I'm not providing spoilers to those just starting through it.

Basically there were either too many or not enough bodies in the last sequence to allow the major plot point occur in the way it did without raising major red flags for everyone involved.

It happened because it made the plot move along faster it's sloppy writing the kind that is common in Abhrams works.

Yeah, I've been watching Fringe for a while and even I have no clue..

What episode are you talking about?

Kaziklu 1/9/2013 10:09:36 AM

Maka read the earlier post. Abhrams has a bit of a fanboy community around him and they hate it when point out silliness

When they finally make mention of it and realize what happened in the first episode of the second season. They still never seem to notice that they only had one body when there should have been two. No one seemed to try to find the second body or search the scene.

To me I would have been like ok so we have this body but if this is the second one were is the orginal one? the family might like to have a funeral. No one does, they just accept everything as fact even though there is a missing body, and it's 10 feet from them under some laundry which no one checks.

I' m the only one who thinks nitpicking about an episode 2 seasons ago is a bit ridiculous and maybe just enjoying the the show while appreciating it as a whole would be more a productive use of your time.

I never got into the show early on, I've been watching them since they showed up on Netflix. I generally enjoy it... but on occasion in the first part of the series as I've been watching I have had a few moments where I really just look at it and wonder why all the characters just got stupid. That was just the most pronouced moment, and it's the last time Abrhams has his hand in the script.

I actually said out loud as it was happening, there is no way that is what the plot line is doing their would be a missing body surely they will figure that out, well unless there is a second one... there isn't a second one... what did JJ Abhrams write this? oh wait he did.

Ya it's a nitpick, but that type of lazy writing that bothers me... it's why I'm not a writer and it's also the reason I dislike the Star Trek movie.
