Frog Brothers, Both Coreys in LOST BOYS 2

A few weeks ago, an A&E special focusing on the movies and relationship between Corey Haim and Corey Feldman aired on the network. As part of the show, at one point Corey Feldman sat Corey Haim down and tried telling him gently that Warner Bros was making a direct to dvd sequel to their 1987 hit, LOST BOYS. After telling him this bit of "news", he had to break it to Haim that Feldman was asked to be part of the sequel but he wasn't asked. Haim broke down in this video unable to believe that he wasn't asked to be in a direct to dvd sequel. I'll put that video exchange below in this article. It really looked like a publicity stunt for a lot of people (Haim crying after hearing the "devastating news"), it looked like a planned event so now that Ryan Rotten is breaking this news, it's not surprising...

Ryan Rotten at Shock Til You Drop has revealed today that the Frog brothers (Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander) will be reuniting in LOST BOYS 2. Also, returning is Corey Haim (contrary to previous "public" reports) reprising his role of Sam Emerson. In a strange new twist, Keifer Sutherland's half brother, Angus Sutherland, will be playing the big bad villain in the sequel. The plot of the film is based around a surfing town being plagued by vampires.

Filming will begin next Monday for director P.J Pesce.

Here's that video I was referring to...

Strangely enough I watched that garbage of a show. It was oddly intriguing, I don't feel good for watching it, but I do feel better for admitting it.

That's hilarious. I hope it's Haim's way of saying "I really don't give a crap" by taking it to the other extreme on tape. I'm glad his 'buddy' broke the bad news to him though in this bit of filler.

I always thought Haim was pretty fruity anyway. Although it was probably the set designer's idea but especially so when I saw the poster of a bare chested Rob Lowe hanging in Haim's room in 'the Lost Boys' which still haunts me. The earrings, hair and colorful shirts don't help either. I was an '80's teen but it amazes me what people got away with back then.

I thought the lost boys was a great flick. Haven't seen it in a long long time. Not sure this should even be made. I'll wait for a trailer though.

hahahahahahaha.

dude, they should forget about Lost Boys 2 and just package that video straight to theaters! Hilarious! I would pay top dollar to see different variations of that scene.
For example: Feldman telling Haim he's been asked for a License to Drive sequel but Haim was'nt. Or same scene but being asked for Dream a Little Dream! and Haim just breaking down in different settings! hahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa.
Honestly, I can't stop laughing. Cory crying while the other Cory hugs him? hahahaha.

P.S. Why do I have such useless info in my brain like the 2 Coreys movies? hahahah, still laughing at the clip:)

@SONYMANswallows

Dude I know that your comment is funny to you but for some reason it really is unnecessary. I know your not supposed to tell people what to say and all but could you have a little tact? Maybe It really rubbed me the wrong way but I am just like dang son have SOME respect.

As for Lost boys I loved the original but it sucks this is a DVD movie. It could be good but maybe 1 out of 100 direct to dvd movies rarely are

From what I've read the "Two Coreys" show is a scripted show, it's just filmed to look like a reality show. So I'm not surprised by this at all.

its been a while since I watched Lost Boys but I always thought that Feldman and Haim WERE the Frog Brothers and that Jamison Newlander was Sam Emerson... errp... D'ohh!
anyway, currently they're making their livng selling their autographs for $25 at shows like the Anaheim convention center and other Conventions (I dont think they were at the SDCC this year though)
How can they anounce the big bad this early on? wasnt one of the major draws to the original movie was that the vampire they assumed was the head vampire WASNT actually the head vampire at all?
Also, can Angus Sutherland actually act? (does it really matter any?) I think not.

LET THERE BE A SEQUEL TO "LICENSE TO DRIVE" & "DREAM A LITTLE DREAM III", considering there WAS a DALD 2, released straight to video back in 1994, (long before DVDs were invented)

I would add something here.

A few days before the A&E TV reality show ''the 2 Corey's'' started, they played a biograpgy of tboth Coreys in their fame and tribulations.

I guess most people here are probably too young to remember how these guys affected movies and how huge stars they were in the 80's. Lost Boys was such a cool movie at the time and with both of them in this movie, it was super cool.

Over the years, we saw in the docummentarry that they both went through some heavt crap in their lives (yes, the usual drug, sex and rock & Roll of a movie star).

That moment in this video is actaully a really hard moment for them because, after all they have been throught, to see them where they are now today, it is very understandable and emotional moment.

I do find it a bit harsh that people are laughing at this...I guess I would assume most people who laugh probably don't know who they were or what they did in the past but still.
