Obiwanna...Gargoyles will be included in part 2

I'm an old guy so I wasn't a little kid when I saw Duel, Salem's Lot and Trilogy of Terror.  I have fond memories of all of them.

I do prefer my vampires dark and evil (like the one in Salem's Lot) rather than the romantic vamps that frequent modern movies and TV.

Some commenters have referenced a movie about Gargoyles which they thought was excellent.

I wonder if they are talking about the last story in "Tales from the Darkside: The Movie," which was titled "Lovers Vow," and starred Rae Dawn Chong and James Remar?  If they are?  I agree it was excellent.  I'm not aware of any other movie from that time period called "Gargoyles," but I may have forgotten it.

Blank...No...there was a CBS movie, 1972 called "Gargoyles" about real life Gargoyles who had come to life and began terrorizing people in the southwest.  it will be included in next week's Vault column.

Salem's Lot was the source of a three year recurring nightmare I had after seeing it at 8 with my dad and grandparents at their house, and had to sleep in the creepy ROOM WITH A BRASS BED! it was a running through a dark house and falling down stairs to have Barlow's face be the floor. the last time I had the dream I was sleeping on my arm at 11 and when I through my arms up as I hit, my dead sleepy arm fell back on my face and busted my nose! My Dad had enough and rented the movie and forced me to watch it with him again. We were laughing at how bad the acting was and dropped our guard until the Jail scene when you see Barlow for the first time and my dad shot out of his chair! haha. needless to say, Dad appreciated my terror, and I quit having the dreams. Mission accomplished.

Burnt offerings should be on this too. that was a good one with the older sister Mary from Little House...?

Roy Thinnes in "The Norliss Tapes"

A failed pilot that turned up as TV Movie of the Week.

Based on the superb and atmospheric pilot, this would have been one seriously creepy show...

invisioner...great story!  Burnt Offerings is a good movie but was not a made for TV film.  It was a theatrical release and thus not included.
