Eli Roth has released the full trailer for The Green Inferno. It looks like the standard cannibal movie. Then again, when was the last time you saw a standard cannibal movie? Let alone, a new one?

Synopsis: Directed, co-written, and produced by Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel franchise), THE GREEN INFERNO follows a group of student activists who travel from New York City to the Amazon to save a tribe from extinction.  In an unfortunate twist of fate, when the group arrives, they are taken hostage by the very cannibals they sought to protect.

The Green Inferno features Lorenza Izzo, Ariel Levy, Daryl Sabara, and Kirby Bliss Blanton.

THE GREEN INFERNO arrives September 15th, 2014.

Eli Roth must have been a fan of italian Horror Director Umberto Lenzi's The Emerald Jungle

violence porn - pass

I think twisted, depraved humans have made the scariest monsters of all time. Hopefully this will be pulled off well, however, I'm real tired of the college age victims in all these horror genre films. It would be far more frightening and have a greater impact if they had victims of all ages in this. Victims from a few older folks down to children who have traveled along with their parents to save the rain forests. Imagine the horror as one of the children are eaten by the cannibals while the other is forced to eat and later groomed to become one of them!

I like to laugh at people dropping their babies on youtube but you 6dra6on6 are a monster.

@VinJoy, Bwahaha! That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me!

I'm just saying if a movie is going to take the dark road of human depravity they may as well take an original path and really make us question the workings of the human mind. Also, it would be truly horrible and frightening to see something like children eating children and being eaten in a movie. Only a monster would walk out of the theater not feeling an impact from such scenery. I'm not that monster even though I drink Monster daily.

6dra60n- honestly i see what you're trying to get at and I understand, but trust me, the world is not ready for that yet.... Well the USA is not ready for that for sure.

And besides that would just be too sick and disturbing to watch for me personally, even though i'd like to confess im one of the sickest bastards on this site.

VioLatorr, considering they didnt put in the baby cooking scene from the book of The Road which I always found pretty disturbing I would agree the world (i.e. The USA) isnt ready........

I'm in.

Sometimes I get bored with these sort of torture porn films but it's been a while since I saw good one, this may be worth the trip

Btw, no one takes their kids with them to save the rain forest
