As expected, the first full new teaser trailer for Friday the 13th has been officially released online while also getting attached to a lot of Saw V prints this weekend. You can view the trailer below Maniacs. The upcoming re-imagining of Jason Voorhees stars Derek Mears, Amanda Righetti, Jared Padalecki, Jonathan Sadowski, Aaron Yoo, Travis Van Winkle and Odette Yustman. Director Marcus Nispel (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) led production for New Line, based on a screenplay by Marcus Swift and Damian Shannon.
Plot Summary: Returning to the story that started it all, this retelling of the original "Friday the 13th" heads back to summer camp where a mysterious killer is systematically slaughtering the teenage camp counselors.
Friday the 13th will hit theaters Friday, February 13, 2009.

Well . . . I don't know about the music being "the same" I can tell they changed it and modernized it but it still fits and is still creepy. I'm definitly looking forward to this.
Is anybody else having trouble watching the whole trailer? When I watch it halfway through it just ends.
That trailer sounded great, but where's the visuals? Am I the only one who can hear it and not see it?
Looks good, like that they're keeping the old music even if it's touched up some and like that Jason isn't doing his zombie imitation anymore.
All I can say is 'BAD' followed immediately by the word 'ASS!'
I don't give a damn about horror movies. But this has piqued my interest.
Great... a fast Jason. Not like running ever helped anyone in any of the original films.
Yeah it looks wierd with Jason running, but I will see this just like I did the other remakes.
I actually thinkn it looks scarier with Jason coming faster. It always bothered me that people would run, and yet somehow he would still catch them. This looks creepy.

I like the narration by the mother. People been complaining that she wasn't going to be in it. Im sure they'll do something brief but Jason is the focal point. He's the Face of Friday the 13th so im sure thats why they are jumping right to him. I think it will be a good remake doesn't look like much has changed and they are even keeping the same music which is key.
