True Blood is awesome. I'm going to have to go back and watch the season finale because I can't remember a damn thing about it..  What is up with werewolves and vampires? Can't they just get along? Underworld, Twilight, even stupid Vampire Diaries, and now True Blood.

Don't ever mention strike in these posts!

The best is is Eric Laying on his back in bed and sookie exposing herself to him hahaha.

Time to kick some WereWolf Azz can't wait for season 3

Actually the best to me was Jason asking if Bigfoot & Santa Claus were real too.

After reflecting on season 2 I must admit that my enthusiasm for this show has waned a bit. And Sookie and Tara just annoy the heck out of me. I just hope this season is better. And btw where's our favorite tv homo-sexual, Lafayette

Pony,

True Blood is based off of books that came out before that Twilight garbage. If you notice, the author of the Twilight saga actually ripped off quite a bit from the author of the Sookie books.

The Sookie books were even around before Underworld even came out....so they're not exactly ripping those movies off on the whole Vampire-Werewolf thing.

I'm looking forward to this season. One thing that I liked is that the show never perfectly followed the books, but only followed it very loosely.

I kinda pictured Alcide to look a bit different and not so Wolverine-like.

I can't wait for this!! But those werewolves look like Twilight werewolves... I wanted more like Wolfman werewolves... oh well... I will still watch!

I wasn't saying that True Blood was ripping those other movies and shows off. I know the Sookie Stackhouse books had been out for awhile. I was just speaking in general how in almost every iteration of the genre, vampires and werewolves don't seem to get along. Actually the only show i have ever seen where they do get along is Being Human and even then the vampires look down on the werewolves.

Having read the books, I think the writing for the show is a bit better.  Usually that is not the case with most books being optioned to movies or tv.  The biggest reason I like the show's writing better is because it is not strictly from Sookie's point of view and it fleshes out the other characters a lot more.

I hope they do go along with one theme from the books and that is to make Erik more prominant.  Erik is pretty cool in the books while Bill is kind of a tool.  I also like Sam and Jason better in the show, though in the books there a pretty cool part where Sam changes into a Lion and f's up some werewolves.

I guess I need to mark this down so I can order HBO before it starts.

Maybe its because she shows her boobs on this show but I am find Ann P. to be more and more attractive. Is that shallow of me?
