FUNimation made the sole bit of main news when it came to licensing information at Anime Boston 2009 this weekend with word that they've picked up the rights to localize and distribute the series Spice and Wolf. The show, which runs for thirteen episodes, is one of several properties that Kadokawa Pictures USA has been shopping around for awhile. A second season of the show is set for airing in Japan this summer while manga publisher Yen Press has picked up the rights to the light novel and manga releases.
