One of the things that FUNimation has talked about a lot this year was being able to offer digital download versions of their series before they come out on DVD so that they can try to close the window a bit on acquisition to physical media releases. The last series to get this attention was Black Blood Brothers which came out over a month prior to the start of the DVD release. FUNimation is back with it again, this time offering all eleven episodes of Jyu-Oh-Sei for download, subtitled in English, prior to the currently unannounced DVD release. The targetting for this - especially within anime fandom - is rather limited as it requires requires a computer running the user to use Microsoft Windows XP or higher in the United States. Each episode costs US$1.99, and the entire series costs US$16.99.
