FUNimation Offers Simulcast Survey

What shows do you want to come to video and more

FUNimation is kicking off their latest survey, which you can find here, as they take a look at how your're viewing your simulcasts of their various series and which ones you'd be interested in seeing being licensed and released on home video. FUNimation has done several of these types of surveys over the years, last years dealing with packaging which has resulted in the new limited edition style sets we get, so they do listen to the data they get back here on top of what they see for actual simulcast viewing numbers and other information. So, seriously, if you want to see a particular show make the transition over, fill out the survey. And be sure to select Rainbow and Shiki for me. :D

We’ve got a few questions to ask about some recent simulcasts. Take a minute to share you opinion on DVD/Blu-ray purchasing of these titles. Do be as honest as possible. Also, keep in mind the standard pricing of FUNimation releases also when answering these questions. As usual, we won’t be able to release the final data on this since it becomes valuable market research. Probably goes without saying, but this survey in no way guarantees that we’ll license any of these shows.

Thanks to Calibur454 for the submission.

seemman- its because of the lolita seens that are in the anime. Even I'll admit that some are a little riske- If parents got wind of some of the stuff it would have caused an uproar and a lot of bad press. Despite the fact that it is rated tv-ma- It doesnt matter if it is anime most parents will think its animation and the genral mindset is that animation is for kids.  It wouldn't matter what fans thought at that point- the media would have a feild day and anime (not to mention how it is rated_) would be in the crosshairs.

and besides the dvds are going to be released uncut and I can pretty much tell you that it will have a TV_MA RATING and that will always be a good thing

I just wish they weren't region locked.
