Jasinner, good example man of Johns and Lee. The more I think about this the more excited I get. This is going to be awesome and you know since Johns is writing it there are going to be lots of other heroes popping in and out of the storyline this could be a lot of fun.

I never buy DC stuff...but I'm all over this. Sounds bad arse.

JMS would still be on Thor if Marvel hadn't forced the title back into the MegaEvent mix. JMS apparently got his wish for a free from continuity project across the aisle. Good for him. I lost my taste for him months ago due to his slow release schedule which had many Thor fans clamoring for a replacement anyhow. So if he is working on GN's now, well it could be -quite- a long time between installments much less the first one coming out. Good luck DC.

Shane Davis looks like a pre-awesome Travis Charest. Not bad, but not the best. Maybe he'll step up his game like TC did. Still, those writers and Gary Frank should serve to do great things.

I'm stillllll waiting for All star WW from Adam Hughes, since he's my fav artist of all time. I mean, it's only been 3 years now... Maybe that got abandoned to roll into this earth1 thing after Frank Miller twisted up the goddamn Batman....

I don't get into comics but a graphic novel restarting Batman is definitely something I'll be checking out.  Probably the Superman one too.   I know someone asked already, but when are these suppose to come out?

I wish the creative teams were mixed. I would love to see JMS and Gary Frank on Batman, as I think Geoff Johns writes Batman horribly. They were amazing together on Supreme Power, and I would love to see that translated over.

However I have to say, I think that the Allstar line was a better concept. It was free from continuity, but also it retained the ability to stay free from continuity instead of creating it's own. I forsee some of the same problems that the ultimate universe had, as it will just be creating a new confusing series of events for people to memorize.

JMS cut loose from continuity is a dream come true. Quessadillia insisting on JMS forcing his stories into the current "event" is what made him leave his awsome Spidey & Thor runs. Maybe DiDio will leave him be & just let him do his amazing stuff. I am pumped for this book. And I'll pick up the Batman one also.
