Alexandre Aja will direct. MTV Films, Plan B and Kevin Messick will produce.

You know, at first I thought this article was going to refer to remaking Disney's "The Black Hole." So now we have two films called Crash, two Black Holes, two Gladiators....

At any rate, a horror around an STD might be a good thing... might get some teens to smarten up and use protection. Then again, most teens aren't prone to listen.

I think I remember reading some of that series. This would be a perfect vehicle for Eli Roth...horror and sex. If MTV films is involved, does that mean it'll be a PG13 film loaded with whatever teen sensations are hot at the time? If you're going to do a series like this, it should be a hard R movie and graphic as possible.

With Neil Gaiman behind the writing as well, at least the actors will have intelligent dialog instead of the usual teen slop.

My GF gave me the hardcover of this story for christmas, and let me tell you, it was the best gift I got this year. The story is entertaining, thought provoking, and instantly relatable to anyone who wasn't in a coma during their teen years. With the writing style of Gaiman it looks like it's in good hands on that front, but I don't know the director. Of course maybe getting a realive unknown director is a good thing.

i'll admit i would only be interested in this movie if had a r rating. pg13 would probably be a boring movie.
