Galaxy Online Acquires Internet Rights to 50 Science Fiction Films

Titles include DR. CALIGARI, THINGS TO COME, DEATH RACE 2000.

Galaxy Pictures Inc. has announced the acquisition of 50 vintage science-fiction and horror films from Passport International Productions, ranging from classic black-and-white motion pictures like The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and Things to Come to such full-color fare as Death Race 2000 and Brother From Another Planet. The movies, along with a variety of original productions, will be screened at the company's Internet, GalaxyOnline.com.

GalaxyOnline.com is also developing its own films. Productions currently in development include the futuristic thriller Overload, starring Bill Mumy (Lost in Space, Babylon 5), Tony Dow (Leave It to Beaver), George Takei (Star Trek), and Claudia Christian (Babylon 5); and ''Illegal Alien,, ascience-fiction drama written by Walter Koenig (Star Trek), who is also set to star in the movie.
