Sorry about that, up in the moment.

Straying too far from the source material.  GRRM being one of the producers has no one to blame but himself.  WTF follow the book so close in the first season and start going out in left field in the 2nd?  What a shame, if they would have stuck to the book it would have grown for the 3rd season audience wise but now I think they've reached their peak and expect it to drop next year.  Even I'm not as excited about season 3 as I should be.  Very stupid of them but it is what it is.

Yeah, they're playing fast and loose with Dany's storyline especially.

Having read all the books, I have no problems with the changes they have made to the show.  The net result will be the same.  Martin has let the producers know how it's going to end and where the major characters will ultimately end up.  I'm enjoying finally to see a solid well done fantasy series.  We've had excellent Sci-Fi but fantasy series, not so much.

Minor Spoiler Alert

Enjoy the ride because next year when RW hits it's going to be harder then the book for most people to take then what happened to Ned.

I'm with you Iracors.  There have been deviations from the books but each story is ultimately ending up where it should.  I don't mind changes as long as they add something to the story and most of them have.  There are still scenes which I sorely miss but like I said, as long as things end up where they are supposed to I'll be mostly satisfied.

And I'm not too sure that will necessarily happen next season Iracors since they aren't going to be doing each book a season.

Just curious to know what changes you have really disliked Hobbs?
