Gamer cable channel lands on Time-Warner

VARIETY reports on gaming news and information channel G4's newly-closed deal with Time Warner Cable that will add 5 million to the channel's household count.

G4 also has agreements with AT&T, Comcast and Insight cable systems which translate to a projected 2004 total of about 12 million residences in which the channel will be available.

The channel will be seen on certain Time Warner systems next month.
