Gantz English Cast List

Date: Tuesday, December 21, 2004

Director: Matt Greenfield

Translator: Josh Cole

Studio: ADV Studios

Kei Kurono - Voiced by Chris Ayres - A high school student and childhood friend of Masaru Kato. Although he talks tough when he’s thinking, he keeps it inside most of the time, and actually is a little cowardly. Has a thing for Kishimoto. (Sapphire's Character Annotation: Jerk)

Masaru Kato - Voiced by Illich Guardiola - A high school student. He was Kei Kurono’s childhood friend, but they were separated when Kato changed schools. He feels very strongly about doing the “right” thing, which means helping out people in need and not physically harming anyone. (Sapphire's Character Annotation: He's Okay, I Guess - Out of a Sea of Jerks, Anyway)

Kishimoto - Voiced by newcomer Shannon Emmerick - A high school student. Very quite. She appears in the Gantz room after Kei and Kato. She has a thing for Kato. (Sapphire's Character Annotation: Victim Chick)

Joichiro Nishi - Voiced by Chris Patton - A middle school student. He appears to be the only one in the Gantz room who has any idea what's going on. However, he's very secretive and reveals information only sparingly and grudgingly. (Sapphire's Character Annotation: Creepy Jerk)

Masashi Yamada - Voiced by newcomer Russell Freeman - An elementary school teacher; middle-aged man. He is already in the room with the Gantz when Kei and Kato appear there.

Goro Suzuki - Voiced by Mike Kleinhenz - An ailing, older politician. He is already in the Gantz room when Kei and Kato arrive.

Inamori - Voiced by Jay Hickman - A yound punk who speaks very colloquially and swears a lot. He is already in the Gantz room when Kei and Kato arrive.

Yoshioka - Voiced by Andy McAvin - An apparent Yakuza member, he speaks roughly, but somewhat more refined than Hatanaka. He is already in the Gantz room when Kei and Kato arrive.

Hatanaka - Voiced by Rob Mungle - Another apparent Yakuza member, he speaks very roughly and colloquially. He is already in the Gantz room when Kei and Kato arrive.

Big Greenonion - Voiced by James Faulkner - A larger and uglier version of Little Greenonion. His speech is mainly nonsense. When beaten, he says, “I’ll give you green onions. Please forgive me.”

Old Lady - Voiced by Marcy Rae - an old woman who asks Kei for directions while he's waiting for the subway. As usual for Kei, he's rude to her.

Furuta - Voiced by Paul Sidello - the manager of a video store where Kei hangs out.

Little Greenonion - Voiced by Spike Spencer - A small, green, odd looking alien who eats green onions. Speaks like a child.

Young Kato - Voiced by Jessica Boone - Kato Masaru as a child.

Nozaki - Voiced by Mike MacRae - the leader of a motorcycle gang in Kei's neighborhood.

Teacher - Voiced by Emily Carter Essex - Kei's teacher in high school.
