Vaughn Helming X-Men Sequel (Article) - 1/31/2012 11:23:40 AM

Bring it on! XM:FC was really awesome, looking forward to more!

jetpackjesus,

I didn't think Katniss was "stupid" necessarily, but she was INCREDIBLY annoying at some parts. I chalked it up to teenage girl, hormones and angst and that stuff... Still they were a really fun, engaging and quick read. They're not GREAT WORKS OF ART, but they are really good trashy fun reads.

Apologies in advance,

BUT Wiseguy finally said it...

He'll never be completely happy...

I KNEW IT!

Wise,

Read the book, or at least try... THEN you might see what the fuss is about. They are really good for teen novels, and they are very far away from a "love" story like I was lead to believe Twilight was (never read twilight)

The entire trilogy was fantastic, and a fun easy read. I liked this trilogy better than The Draggon Tattoo trilogy.

I am psyched for the film.

The 10 Worst Movie Endings Ever (Article) - 1/20/2012 11:23:51 AM

Hanso,

I love the explanation you gave for the ending of TDK. It makes sence to me know in the suspension of disbelief way, and I like it more now. Thanks.

Karas1, I don't think Nolan's Batman would save the joker with CPR... remember, "I won't kill you, but I don't have to save you" from Batman begins. I paraphrased it but he let Ras Al Ghul die (as far as he knew) so I don't think he'd go out of his way to save Joker...

The 10 Worst Movie Endings Ever (Article) - 1/19/2012 12:52:16 PM

I haven't seen all of these flicks, so I can't comment on the list as a whole, BUT it's spot on with regards to "I Am Legend" great first half, terrible ending...

The Holy Grail, was a perfect ending, I don't think the could  have done it any better.

AND I know I'm in a super minority, but... I really liked Burtons Planet of the Apes... I especially LOVED the ending.

You may commence bashing me ....NOW

Ramirez, Molla Circle TREK Sequel (Article) - 12/8/2011 12:16:19 PM

How do you guys all know it will be Khan? If it is, I say COOL! a re-imagining of Khan, I watched ST II TWoK yesterday, still love that film, and would love to see what JJ would do. But I haven't seen anything to lead me to belive Khan is in JJ ST:2

Del Toro Exits TREK Sequel (Article) - 12/8/2011 12:08:08 PM

Karas,

I wasn't referring to the ST:TOS, trust me although I am too young to have enjoyed it when it was on the air, I enjoyed it everyday thanks to syndication. I was not, am not, a trek-er (ie) but am a big fan. I don't speak Klingon, but I love me some Trek. While I love the themes and trailblazing path it has led our real world on technologically, I am not beholden to an exacting ideal of what Trek is, should be.

I LOVED Trek TOS, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED TNG, I liked DS9 alot, and by the time voyager came around I didn't watch aas much TV as I used to. I also really liked Enterprise (cue groans from people that say they are a better fan than me)

It is daunting being a ST fan when there are so many people out there that worship it like some kind of religion...

I was never saying ST:TOS was boring, I WAS saying that ST:TMP is EXTREMELY boring... I just watched ST II -ST IV and Generations yesterday (god bless Cinemax for whatever reason playing so much Trek) I love ST, Including the new adventures we get to go on with JJ's Trek, which is stellar IMHO, it makes me feel like the same little 10 year old watching ST:TOS again. Adventure, space, KIRK. There are very many of us who respect the show, but haven't burdened ourselves with knowing so much about it we cannot enjoy anything new...

Bay Talks Transformers 4 Rumor (Article) - 12/7/2011 2:07:57 PM

I loved the first one, Liked the second one, and fell asleep during the third one. I mean seriously, what was withthe entirely too long and too human, third act? I never thought there were too many humans before the third one, but jeezus, it was all human vs. non recognizeable "decepticons"

I think bay has run his course and would like to see  someone else take over.

Transformers Prime is such a GREAT homage to G-1 and a new take on TF all at the same time, the movies should use that as thier jumping off point.

If any of you who complains about the movies doesn't watch Transformers Prime, your're fools!
