More news from this week's Cannes film festival. Warner Bros. has snagged the rights to biotech thriller, GENESIS CODE about a woman who is going to give birth to a childe whose DNA has been messed with by a radical religious order.

The movie is based on John Case's 1997 book. Rupret Wainwright has expressed interest in directing from the script by Ronald Shusett (TOTAL RECALL) and Ian Rabin (HELLBOUND).
